Quick Reference:
  • Deposit (50% of rental) and signed contract required to confirm your reservation. Security deposit and rental balance due prior to check-in.
  • Check-in from 2-5 p.m. After hours arrival to be arranged in advance. Directions to go straight to your cabin possible if paid in full.
  • Check-out by 11 a.m.
  • 2 night minimum stay, 3 night minimum for holidays and other peak periods.

All the Details:

  • CHECK IN 2 to 5 p.m. After hours check in must be arranged in advance. Full payment must be received in advance for late arrival approval. Early check in will be accommodated if your cabin is ready. Just call the night before or day of your arrival to inquire.
     

  • CHECK OUT – 11 a.m. Guests are asked to put all trash in the outside container, consolidate soiled laundry, load and start dishwasher, reset the thermostat to 55 degrees and be sure any fire in the fireplace has been extinguished.
     

  • GUEST PAYMENT REQUIREMENTS - 50% of the total rental fee required in advance to hold reservation. Agent(s) accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Money Orders and Checks drawn on U.S. banks. (If securing with a check, it must be received within 3 days after booking has been made or the reservation will be canceled. Agent(s) do no accept checks on reservations made less than 30 days before arrival.) Balance is due prior with cash, certified funds, traveler’s checks, Visa, MasterCard, or Discover. WE DO NOT ACCEPT CHECKS AT CHECK-IN!
     

  • GUEST SECURITY DEPOSIT - Is required prior to check-in and must be credit card or cash! No checks accepted! If Guest(s) have no major credit card, a cash deposit of $200.00 to $500.00 (Two to Five Hundred U.S. Dollars) will be collected depending on the property and/or pets. This is a refundable security deposit.
     

  • CANCELLATION - A $25.00 administration fee is assessed for all cancellations. However, if Guest(s) cancel less than thirty (30) days prior to their arrival date in cabin, Guest(s) advance payment will be forfeited.
     

  • RESERVATION CHANGE FEE - All reservations that need date and/or property changes are subject to a non-refundable $25.00 rescheduling fee per change. All changes must be done prior to cancellation period expiration.
     

  • NO SHOW POLICY - The total amount of the reservation will be charged.
     

  • CABIN PROVISIONS - All homes are fully equipped for normal housekeeping. Color TV, VCR or DVD, outdoor grill, microwave, stove, refrigerator and dishwasher are standard items. Washer/Dryer in some units. For those units with wood burning fireplaces, firewood will be provided for October–March rentals. Towels and linens are provided for all rental units. Linens, paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap, trash bags, dish soap are provided for you. Personal items are not provided, please remember to bring your own. Every effort has been made to assure that the descriptions of the properties are correct. All equipment in the unit should be in working order. Please report any problems to the office immediately. Every effort will be made to correct the problem, but we cannot refund your money due to mechanical failures. Check the number of people each unit sleeps as detailed in the unit description. This represents the total number of people, including children, allowed to stay in the house.
     

  • PETS – If pets are permitted, the home will be coded under amenities as green for pets allowed. If a rental unit allows pets, we may require an additional nonrefundable fee for pets. Bringing pets MUST be arranged in advance. If pets are brought without approval, you may be asked to vacate the cabin and no refund will be given.
     

  • HOT TUB USE – Intoxicated or pregnant individuals should not use the hot tub – definite risks for prolonged exposure to the heated water. Clean bodies are the only items to be put in the hot tub. Please contact the office for any maintenance needed.
     

  • RECOMMENDED ITEMS TO BRING – matches, firestarters, flashlight (in case you arrive after dark), long distance calling card, hair dryer, camera, light jacket, comfy bathrobes to wrap up after hot tubbing. Please bring enough food for a day or so or stock up at one of our local groceries before heading to your cabin during winter months.
     

  • LONG DISTANCE SERVICE - Please bring your calling cards with you. Some cellular phones work in the area. Your phone and network provider will determine whether you will be able to call out or receive calls while at the cabin.
     

  • SMOKING POLICY – All cabins are non-smoking. Smoking is permitted on the porches/decks. Any inside smoking may result in cleaning fee subtracted from your deposit.
     

  • WINTER MONTHS – If your vacation is in the winter months, come prepared to drive in snow and/or ice to reach your rental home. We do recommend chains or 4-wheel drive, as most of our homes are located on secondary roads. Planning in advance for tow service could come in handy!
